THEIR REPORT TO THE WATER BOARD DATED OCTOBER 13TH CONFIRMS THAT ELEVATED PFAS LEVELS ARE PRESENT AT LVK IN THE SOIL AND SHALLOW GROUNDWATER. IN VIEW OF THEIR FINDINGS, GEOTECH SUGGESTED SEVERAL RECOMMENDATIONS. THE WATER BOARD RESPONDED TO THE GEOTECH RECOMMENDATIONS IN A LETTER TO THE CITY MANAGER DATED OCTOBER 27TH. IN ITS RESPONSE, THE WATER BOARD STATES WE DO NOT CONCUR THAT PFAS DETECTED IN THE SITE SOIL AND GROUNDWATER ARE NECESSARILY WITHIN THE RANGE OF BACKGROUND CONCENTRATIONS IN THE AREA. FURTHERMORE, THE WATER BOARD IS ASKING FOR CORRECTIONS TO NUMEROUS ERRORS IN THE REPORT AND REQUIRING FURTHER PFAS INVESTIGATIONS AT LVK. THAT MUST BE DETAILED IN A WORK PLAN DUE TO THE WATER BOARD FEBRUARY 2ND, 2026. NOISE FROM JET AIRCRAFT CONTINUES TO BE A MAJOR CONCERN. THE NOISE AND PUBLIC CONCERNS ARE NOT DIMINISHING. SO, UM, SWIFT FUEL HAS PASSED AN A STM SPEC, UH, AND THEY'RE WORKING THROUGH THE PA E PROCESSES RIGHT NOW. THEY HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR USE IN A VERY SELECT NUMBER OF AIRCRAFT. UM, SO THOSE AIRPORTS THAT ARE US UTILIZING 100 R HAVE THOSE AIRCRAFT IN A LARGER AMOUNT THAT IT MAKES SENSE AS SOON AS SWIFT GETS ITS ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATION TO OPEN IT UP TO THE LARGER FLEET. UM, SAME WAY THAT UL 95 OR 94 WAS, THEN THEY WILL BE DISTRIBUTING IT TO ALL THE OTHER AIRPORTS. WE HAVE SPOKEN WITH KRIS ACOSTA FROM SWIFT FUELS WHO HAS ITERATED TO US THAT AS SOON AS THAT CERTIFICATION COMES THROUGH, OR I DON'T WANNA SAY CERTIFICATION, AS SOON AS THAT APPROVAL COMES THROUGH, THAT IT IS, UH, SAFE FOR USE IN ALL PISTON ENGINEER AIRCRAFT. UH, LIVERMORE AIRPORT WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST AIRPORTS TO GET THE FIRST LOADS OF 100 R TO COME OUT HERE. HAS THERE BEEN ANY DISCUSSION WITH OUR, OUR, OUR, UH, FBO ABOUT, UH, THE LOGISTICS OF THAT?
